Interview cards
A flashcard bank of technical interview questions — browse, filter, and test yourself.
A deck of real technical questions — browse what you know, then test what you don't.
What it is
Interview cards is a study deck of technical interview questions, each with a written answer. Browse them by topic and difficulty, mark what you already know, star the ones to revisit, and switch to flashcard mode to test yourself. It's the technical counterpart to the interview cheat sheet, which focuses on HR and behavioral prep.
When to use it
For steady technical revision in the run-up to interviews — a few cards a day, or a focused drill on one topic the night before a technical round.
How to use it
Pick your cards
The deck is filtered, so start by choosing at least one topic. Then narrow further:
- Level — Junior, Middle, Middle/Senior, or Senior
- Status — All, To learn, Known, or Starred
A progress bar tracks your known count against the total.
Learn mode
The default view lists questions you can expand. On each card you can:
- Click Answer to reveal the written answer (Hide to collapse it)
- Mark it known (the check) once you've got it
- Star it to revisit later
Test mode
Switch to Test for flashcards:
- Click a card or press Space to flip it and reveal the answer
- Mark Knew it or Review again — both advance to the next card
- Navigate with Previous / Next or the ← / → keys
- Shuffle the deck (press s), and Reset the order anytime
Tips & best practices
- Filter to one topic at a time. Focused drilling beats scrolling one giant, undifferentiated deck.
- Be honest with "known." It drives your progress bar and the To learn filter — only mark what you could explain in an interview.
- Star the borderline ones. The Starred filter becomes your personal revision list.
- Use Test mode for recall. Reading answers is easy; retrieving them under pressure is the skill that matters.
Troubleshooting / FAQ
- The page looks empty. Pick a topic first — "Pick a topic to start" means no topic is selected yet.
- "No cards match your filters." Loosen a filter — try a different level, or set status back to All.
- "Failed to load interview cards. Please refresh." Reload the page; if it persists, try again shortly.
- Do my "known" and starred marks save? Yes — your progress is saved to your account and persists across sessions and devices.
